The Lost has gone Alpha!

Ed: Added trailer.
I don't believe I actually ever mentioned my team project here yet!
At the start of term we were given three titles to create a mobile game around. "The Lost" is a arcade-action game where you control Henry, a phantom bellhop, who must scare the guests of a 1930's hotel by interacting with objects, writing on the walls and making chandeliers crash in order to survive. As our spirit scares more people he becomes more and more powerful, gaining the ability to use more and bigger objects. The player must avoid the priests at all costs and finally become scary enough to make the ballroom chandelier crash bringing the night's festivities to a dramatic close.
Last week we had to finish the alpha builds of our game, that is be feature complete, and yesterday we presented them to members of local Dundee studios such as Denki and Tag Games. The presentation went well, my team were happy with it, but lessons have been learned and it will definitely be better in January when we present the finished prototype. The questions were definitely not pushovers but we got great feedback that we can hopefully act on. Here is the starting area, the attic, containing the tutorial movie posters:
I'm really excited by how the game is turning out, and I hope with a few weeks of polish it can get that small bit better. Here's a picture of the room in which I gave the presentation, bring on the final one!
