Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon - Madder Red

Odd Blood was one of my favourite records of 2010, experimental and an unexpected departue for Yeasayer but also full of melody and great hooks, and I hope to write about it along with some other of the year's best albums.


This is Madder Red, the song that has probably stuck with me the most. It has a great video too, starring the wonderful Kristen Bell.

 "Never gave a thought to an honourable living,
Always had sense enough to lie,
